President of the Republic of Indonesia, Prabowo Subianto inaugurated 53 ranks of Ministers and Heads of Institutions of the Red and White Cabinet at the State Palace, Jakarta, Monday (10/21/2024).

Also inaugurated today, the Minister of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/Head of the National Land Agency (ATR/BPN), Nusron Wahid, replacing Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY) who was recently inaugurated as Coordinating Minister for Infrastructure and Regional Development.

After the inauguration, Nusron Wahid conveyed a number of directives given by President Prabowo Subianto, namely regarding the restructuring of control, ownership, use, and utilization of land that is more equitable.

This is also known as Agrarian Reform, a national strategic program that has been ongoing since the previous administration.

“The government must prioritize the principles of justice, equality, and sustainability.

Don’t let one private party control millions of hectares of land in Indonesia, but there are farmers who have difficulty finding land,” said the Minister of ATR/Head of BPN to a number of media crews.

In addition to Agrarian Reform, he mentioned other messages from President Prabowo Subianto to be implemented immediately because they concern the welfare of the Indonesian people.

“The second is the utilization of abandoned state land and the third is dispute resolution,” said Nusron Wahid.

On this occasion, the Minister of ATR/Head of BPN was accompanied by his wife, Dily Rosi Timadar. After the inauguration, the two were welcomed by the Secretary General of the Ministry of ATR/BPN, Suyus Windayana and the Head of the Public Relations Bureau, Harison Mocodompis and his staff.
