Minister of ATR/Head of BPN, Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY) handed over 11 asset certificates belonging to PT PLN West Java Distribution on Sunday (21/04/2024). This handover took place in Cipendawa Village, Pacet District, Cianjur Regency.
“I congratulate PT PLN on receiving its BMN asset certificate.
I advise that the assets that have been certified are well looked after,” said the Minister of ATR/Head of BPN in his speech.
The certification of government land assets including assets of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) by the Ministry of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/National Land Agency (ATR/BPN) is an effort to prevent potential misuse of assets that could harm state finances.
Apart from that, this asset certificate is also a form of providing legal certainty regarding assets belonging to BUMN. So, it is hoped that there will be no more conflicts or land disputes on BUMN lands.
“In land administration, it is known as Right, Restriction and Responsibility (3R). Rights holders are responsible for taking good care of their land,” said Minister AHY.
“Moreover, PLN is a company that has high work risks. One of them is the potential for electric shock, so it needs a buffer zone.
Don’t let dangerous areas be used as residential areas. Safety is the main thing,” stressed the Minister of ATR/Head BPN. Previously, in Cipendawa Village activities had been taking place to organize access to Agrarian Reform in the form of asparagus cultivation.
PT PLN also participates by providing capital assistance to the community through its CSR program.
The titling of land assets belonging to PT PLN then became a form of synergy and collaboration between the Ministry of ATR/BPN and PT PLN which has made the Agrarian Reform program a success.
Also accompanying Minister AHY in this activity were several Middle and Primary High Leadership Officials of the Ministry of ATR/BPN, Special Staff, and Head of the BPN Regional Office for West Java Province along with all Heads of Land Offices throughout West Java Province.
Also present were the Regent of Cianjur, Herman Suherman and the Forkopimda of Cianjur Regency.
