Tangerang Regent, Moch. Maesyal Rasyid, asked the Tangerang Regency National Crafts Council (Dekranasda) to expand assistance and mentoring to MSMEs, particularly those producing craft products in Tangerang Regency.
This was stated by Regent Maesyal Rasyid when opening the 2025 evaluation meeting of the Tangerang Regency National Crafts Council (Dekranasda) at the Lemo Hotel on Tuesday (December 9, 2025).
“The existence of Dekranasda not only improves Dekranasda’s performance, but also allows for its outcomes to be expanded and expanded.
So, I ask Dekranasda to take action, even if the results are small.
If necessary, the local government will assist, facilitate capital for these artisans,” said Regent Maesyal Rasyid.
According to him, Dekranasda has six main focuses in carrying out its duties and functions as a partner to the local government.
To develop and improve the quality of both products and craft entrepreneurs in Tangerang Regency.
“The focus is on increasing product innovation and competitiveness, strengthening regional craft branding, digitalizing marketing, and expanding partnership networks.
Developing exhibition spaces and creative economy centers, and facilitating capital and access to financing,” he explained.
He also emphasized that crafts are not just products, but a reflection of the community’s identity, creativity, and perseverance.
He hopes the evaluation meeting will yield strong and applicable recommendations for refining the Dekranasda work program in the coming years.
This is to improve the welfare of artisans and strengthen the regional economy.
“My deepest gratitude and appreciation to the Tangerang Regency Dekranasda, all regional officials, and the artisans who continue to demonstrate dedication to preserving cultural heritage while creating economic value for the community,” he concluded.
The Chairperson of Tangerang Regency Dekranasda, Rismawati Maesyal Rasyid, stated that the evaluation meeting would serve as a benchmark for the performance and progress of Tangerang Regency Dekranasda in advancing micro-businesses of artisans in Tangerang Regency.
“Through this evaluation meeting, we can see the extent of the performance and progress of Dekranasda in promoting and advancing micro-businesses of artisans in Tangerang Regency,” said Risma.
She continued, explaining that Dekranasda Tangerang Regency has established partnerships and collaborations with various regional agencies to jointly improve the quality of both products and skills of craft entrepreneurs in Tangerang Regency.
“We have also collaborated with relevant agencies, in this case the Cooperatives Agency and the Industry and Trade Agency.
To provide training, guidance, and encouragement to micro-businesses in Tangerang Regency,” she added.
