The Ministry of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/National Land Agency (ATR/BPN) is intensively implementing certification of every inch of land in Indonesia which is carried out through the Complete Systematic Land Registration Program (PTSL) certification, routine certification of land outside the PTSL location.
Certification of land owned by ministries/institutions, land owned by regional governments both central government and provincial, district/city governments and certification of land for places of worship.
Head of the Banten Province National Land Agency (BPN) Regional Office, Sudaryanto said that of the total number of land plots in Banten Province of around 5 million plots, 24% of unmapped land is uncertified.
Simultaneous with the registration and certification efforts for all land plots, the Ministry of ATR/BPN has also implemented electronic services and electronic land rights certificates (e-Certificates).
This was done because of several reasons besides being the President’s direction to the Minister of ATR/Head of BPN to encourage the implementation of e-Certificates to be more massive.
Electronic services are also a public need for fast services.
Easy to access and reliable and no less important, e-Certificates mitigate against the destruction or damage of physical files due to natural disasters or fires.
Electronic services that have been implemented include checking, Land Registration Certificates (SKPT), Land Value Zones (ZNT), Mortgage Rights and for e-Certificates issued for First Time Land Registration and other Derivative Services.
A series of benefits of Electronic Documents were expressed by Sudaryanto including increasing efficiency of time, costs and transparency of services, ensuring better data confidentiality and security to increasing the value of Registering Property.
This was conveyed by Sudaryanto during the Socialization of Electronic Land Rights Certificates with the Banten Provincial Government which was the agenda of the 2024 KPK Bus Roadshow, the Coordination Meeting of Regional Heads throughout Banten which took place at the Banten Governor’s Pendopo.
