Strengthening the Role of MSMEs, Tangerang Regent Supports Partnership Between Dekranasda and Diskum.

Tangerang Regent, Moch. Maesyal Rasyid, supports the collaboration between Dekranasda and the Tangerang Regency Cooperatives and Micro Enterprises Office in various efforts and breakthroughs to strengthen the role of MSMEs and contribute to the regional economy.

Regent Maesyal, accompanied by Tangerang Deputy Regent Intan Nurul Hikmah, officially opened a partnership training program in collaboration between Dekranasda Tangerang Regency and the Cooperatives and Micro Enterprises Office (Diskum) at the Fame Hotel Gading Serpong on Tuesday (11/11/25).

“In 2024, there were 61,000 MSMEs in Tangerang Regency, and after eight months, the number had reached 72,000.

The Tangerang Regency Government expresses its gratitude and appreciation to Dekranasda, the Cooperatives Office, and all business actors who have contributed to the economic development of Tangerang Regency,” said Regent Maesyal Rasyid in his remarks.

According to him, the Tangerang Regency Government, through the Department of General Affairs, the Department of Industry and Trade, and other relevant regional agencies, continues to provide mentoring, training, and outreach to improve the competency of MSMEs in Tangerang Regency.

“Ladies and gentlemen here are being trained to enhance their competencies, broaden their knowledge, and increase their enthusiasm. So, if you are enthusiastic, we will be even more enthusiastic in raising awareness for MSMEs and artisans in Tangerang Regency,” he said.

On the same occasion, Deputy Regent Intan stated that partnerships are a crucial and primary factor determining the growth and development and competency of MSMEs in Tangerang Regency.

“This partnership is a crucial factor in improving the competency of MSMEs. With this partnership, our MSMEs can receive significant assistance, both in terms of increasing their capacity and product quality, as well as expanding their markets and providing other necessary soft assistance,” explained Deputy Regent Intan.

Meanwhile, Anna Ratna Maemunah, Head of the Cooperatives and Micro Enterprises Office (Diskum), who delivered the remarks from the Chairperson of the Tangerang Regency Dekranasda (Regional Craft Council), stated that the training.

Themed “Partnership Strategy,” aims to strengthen and enhance synergy between creative entrepreneurs and various parties, particularly the government and Dekranasda.

“This activity, attended by creative entrepreneurs under the guidance of Dekranasda, aims to strengthen collaborative networks and build a competitive and sustainable creative economy ecosystem.

It also aims to enhance their insight and capacity regarding the importance of partnership strategies,” said Anna.

She hopes that this activity will have a sustainable positive impact on improving the capacity and welfare of MSMEs in Tangerang Regency.
