Tangerang Regent Moch. Maesyal Rasyid attended the Pendekar Fest 2025 event, which included the launch of Persita Pendekar Cisadane’s new jersey and team for the 2025–2026 season.
The event took place at the Indomilk Arena Sport Center in Kelapa Dua on Sunday (July 27, 2025).
In his remarks, the Regent expressed his pride and deep appreciation to all Persita management, coaches, and players for their dedication and hard work.
“On behalf of the people of Tangerang Regency, I express my deepest gratitude and appreciation to the Persita team.
Tangerang Regency will always support the advancement of sports, especially football, as part of our efforts to create a prosperous and competitive society,” said the Regent.
He explained that Persita is not just a football club, but has become an inspiration and symbol of the fighting spirit, discipline, and solidarity of the community, especially the younger generation.
“Persita has become part of the community’s identity and pride. The Cisadane Warriors reflect the community’s unyielding character.
The launch of this new team and jersey is a manifestation of this renewed spirit towards even greater achievements,” he explained.
He also invited all elements of the Tangerang Regency community to continue providing moral support and encouragement for Persita, both on and off the field.
“Let’s support our proud team with enthusiasm and prayers, bring positive energy to every match, and prove that Persita is a symbol of togetherness and our love for football,” he said.
Meanwhile, Persita President, H. A. Zaki Iskandar, who was also in attendance, expressed his pride in Persita’s development. He also reminisced about the club’s history, which has been an important part of the football journey in Tangerang.
“Our Regent was also part of the Persita team during the 1980s. As a legend, he proved that leaders can be born on the pitch,” said Zaki.
He also emphasized the importance of synergy between coaches, players, management, local government, and supporters as one unit in supporting Persita’s future success.
He continued, saying that the Pendekar Fest 2025 event was a momentum to welcome the new competitive season with renewed enthusiasm.
The jersey and team launch took place amidst the enthusiasm of supporters who filled the stadium, who also hoped that Persita would achieve even greater success in the future.
“Play with your heart. Believe me, the entire community and the Tangerang Regency government fully support you,” he concluded.
The event was also attended by the Deputy Regent of Tangerang, Intan Nurul Hikmah, the Chairperson of the Tangerang Regency KONI, the Chairperson of the Tangerang Regency PSSI Askab, and sponsors.
