Tangerang Regent, Moch. Maesyal Rasyid appreciates the Safari Ramadhan of Banten Province as an activity that not only strengthens relations between the government and the community, but also as part of the propagation of Islam that brings blessings.
Regent Maesyal emphasized that Safari Ramadhan has an important role in building Islamic brotherhood and strengthening togetherness in the community.
“This activity is not just a means of friendship, but also a form of our concern in supporting Islamic propagation and strengthening Islamic brotherhood. Hopefully, with this Safari Ramadhan, we will all get blessings,” said Regent Maesyal at the Darussalam Mosque, Bojong Nangka Village, Kelapa Dua District, Monday (10/3/2025).
The Regent emphasized the importance of making the holy month of Ramadhan a momentum to increase faith, social awareness, and togetherness.
He invited the public to increase worship, share with others, and maintain unity in order to realize a harmonious life.
“Let’s make this holy month of Ramadan a momentum to increase faith, social awareness and increase worship by sharing with others,” he invited.
He emphasized that the Tangerang Regency Government together with Banten Province are committed to presenting religious programs that support improving community welfare.
“Appreciation also to all parties involved in organizing this Safari Ramadhan.
This activity is a real manifestation of synergy between the government, clerics, and the community in strengthening Islamic values and creating a Ramadan atmosphere full of blessings,” he said.
He invited the congregation present not only to make the mosque a place of worship, but also a center for fostering the community that is able to build character and strengthen social solidarity.
Meanwhile, the Governor of Banten, Andra Soni, who was also present at this event, said that Safari Ramadhan is real proof of the government’s commitment to supporting religious activities in the region.
“This Ramadhan Safari is real evidence of the government’s commitment to supporting religious activities in the regions.
Through this activity, we want to strengthen the relationship between the government and the community and encourage the spirit of togetherness in carrying out worship in the holy month of Ramadhan,” he said.
In this activity, the Banten Provincial Government and Tangerang Regency Government also provided a number of assistance.
Among them are assistance for the construction of mosques, religious teachers, caretakers, mustahiq and so on.
