Tangerang Regent Opens Workshop on Evaluation of Village Financial Management and Development.

TANGERANG, POSINTERNASIONAL.COM.

Tangerang Regent Moch. Maesyal Rasyid opened the Workshop on Evaluation of Village Financial Management and Development held at the Aryaduta Hotel Kelapa Dua on Thursday (11/13/25).

The workshop carried the theme “Optimizing the Role of Villages, Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDes), and Village-Owned Enterprises (KDMP) as Drivers of the Village Economy.”

Village heads, sub-district heads, and relevant regional government officials attended, along with speakers from the Banten Representative Office of the Financial and Development Supervisory Agency (BPKP), the Ministry of Villages, and the Ministry of Finance.

In his remarks, Regent Maesyal Rasyid expressed his appreciation to all parties who have played a role in improving village financial governance and development.

He hoped the event would serve as a platform for sharing suggestions, advice, and information related to village development implementation and financial management.

“From 2026 onward, I want village heads to directly convey their complaints in forums like this.

Because today we are being attended directly by the Financial and Development Supervisory Agency (BPKP), the Ministry of Villages, and the Ministry of Finance.

Use this opportunity to ask lots of questions, so that village financial management is safe and on target,” said Regent Maesyal Rasyid.

The Regent also explained that village financial governance comes from several sectors, both from the central government through the Ministry of Villages and the Ministry of Finance, as well as from the Tangerang Regency Regional Budget (APBD), which is allocated through tax and levy revenue sharing.

Therefore, transparency, accountability, and synergy between regional, sub-district, and village governments are crucial to ensure the use of village funds is targeted and accountable.

“We must work together to ensure that village financial management is sound, transparent, and accountable.

If you encounter any problems, don’t hesitate to consult with the sub-district head, inspectorate, or relevant regional officials. The important thing is that there is no intentional element in administrative errors,” he emphasized.

He also mentioned the central government’s policy of reducing transfer funds by Rp 619 billion, which will impact development implementation in Tangerang Regency.

However, he assured that the Tangerang Regency Government continues to seek the best solution to ensure village development continues as planned.

“This reduction is not only in Tangerang Regency, but throughout Indonesia.

The central government is currently focused on strengthening the people’s economy from the grassroots. We continue to strive to find the best solution because villages are the spearhead of regional economic growth,” he explained.

He also expressed his gratitude and appreciation for the hard work of village heads in various government programs, including the reduction in stunting rates, which recently earned Tangerang Regency a fiscal incentive award from the Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia.

“This award is not due to the regent, but to the hard work of village heads, village officials, and the community. This is clear evidence that village programs are running well and have a positive impact on the community,” he said.
