The Transportation Agency (Dishub) will prepare free school transportation in 2025 to facilitate transportation access for students in Tangerang Regency.
Head of Tangerang Regency Transportation Agency Ahmad Taufik, explained that he will provide free student transportation as the start of the zone 1 route in Tigaraksa.
“In 2025, we will prepare a rental system, as many as 3 free student transportation fleets with a capacity of 39 students on each fleet,” he told Diskominfo, Tuesday (11/02/2025)
Taufik said that he would start this innovation in the middle of the year with a route crossing SDN Seglog as the starting point to SMAN 18 Tangerang Regency as the ending point.
“So the transportation bus will cross 6 SDN, 2 SMPN and 2 SMA on that route,” he said.
The technical operation of the student transportation service starts at 06.00 WIB, of course in the future it will be adjusted to the departure and end times of school.
“This program is certainly a form of contribution from the transportation agency, in easing the cost of student transportation and traffic safety,” said Taufik.
He hopes that this program will be enthusiastically welcomed by the people of Tangerang Regency to jointly create an easily accessible educational environment.
