Head of the Banten Province National Land Agency (BPN) Regional Office, Sudaryanto, handed over an electronic certificate for Situ Cihuni located in Cihuni Village, Pagedangan District, Tangerang Regency, Banten Province, which is an asset of the Banten Provincial Government (Pemprov Banten).

Sudaryanto said that the acquisition of the Situ Cihuni certificate was through a fairly long legal process, where in 2015.

There was a claim from another party then the legal process in the Tangerang District Court and the Banten High Court which determined that Situ Cihuni belonged to another party.

However, the efforts made by the Banten Provincial Government to take legal steps for a Judicial Review resulted in Situ Cihuni being determined as a state asset and based on the decision of the Supreme Court (MA) of the Republic of Indonesia.

The Tangerang Regency Land Office issued a Decree of the Head of the Tangerang Regency Land Office Number 330/HP/BPN-36.03/IX/2024 dated September 3, 2024.
