The Tangerang Regent visited the Cisoka area in the aftermath of the tornado and flood disaster.

Tangerang Regent Moch. Maesyal Rasyid personally inspected the location affected by the tornado that occurred in the Taman Adiyasa Housing Complex, Cikuya Village, Solear District, on January 24, 2026.

During the visit, Regent Maesyal Rasyid ensured expedited response and immediately instructed relevant Regional Apparatus Organizations (OPDs) to immediately repair damaged homes.

Based on preliminary data, the tornado that occurred on Thursday afternoon (January 22, 2026) resulted in:

Approximately 103 homes sustained damage, ranging from light, moderate, to severe.

“We were present with our staff to assess the conditions on the ground following the tornado that occurred yesterday afternoon.

Based on preliminary data, approximately 103 homes were affected, with varying degrees of damage,” said Regent Maesyal Rasyid.

He emphasized that the Tangerang Regency Government would immediately take swift and coordinated response measures.

Response is being carried out through direct repairs by the local government and assistance provided to residents so they can repair their homes independently.

“The local government will immediately follow up on the damage to residents’ homes.

Some are being handled directly by the local government, while others are being assisted so that homeowners can repair them independently.

This must be done immediately, considering that we are still in the rainy season,” he explained.

In addition to damaged homes, the Regent also mentioned that several environmental infrastructures were affected and will be immediately addressed by the relevant Regional Government Organizations (OPD).

“We also noted damage to several roads and environmental facilities.

All of this will be followed up so that community activities and mobility can return to normal,” she added.

Meanwhile, one of the affected residents, Ina Damayanti, expressed her appreciation and gratitude for the Tangerang Regency Government’s swift response.

“We are very grateful for the attention and personal presence of the Regent and his staff. The handling was very swift.

Cleaning and data collection have been ongoing since yesterday’s incident. We hope repairs can be carried out soon so we can return to our activities,” he said.

The Tangerang Regency Government ensured that post-tornado disaster management at the Taman Adiyasa Housing Complex will continue until the residents’ settlements are safe and habitable again.

The Tangerang Regent’s visit was accompanied by Acting Regional Secretary Iwan Firmansyah, the Deputy Chief of the Tangerang Police, the Head of Solear District, and the Head of Cikuya Village.

Heads of relevant regional government agencies (OPDs), including the Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) and the Health Office, were also present.
