Candidate for Regent of Tangerang number 2, Maesyal Rasyid, conducted a dialogical campaign with the community in Binong Village, Curug District, Tangerang Regency, on Tuesday, November 5, 2024.

He explained various priority programs that are his work programs, including free schools, free BPJS services, construction of Islamic boarding schools, house renovations, and the sustainability of infrastructure development in Tangerang Regency.

Maesyal Rasyid is committed that no children in Tangerang Regency should drop out of school.

Therefore, he and Intan Nurul Hikmah will provide subsidies for private schools so that students who do not enter public schools can attend private schools for free.

“Public elementary and junior high schools are already free and I and Mrs. Intan will make private schools free and of course this must be stated in the Regent’s Decree and this will become the regional government’s policy for the next five years,” he said to the media crew.

Not only that, he is also committed to providing free health services to the community by continuing the Universal Health Coverage (UHC) program that has existed since the leadership of the previous regent Ahmed Zaki Iskandar.

He also asked the community to immediately take care of the BPJS health insurance that is included in the UHC program so that they can get free health services.

“Because the BPJS health service that is active is only 72 percent and those that are not yet active must be taken care of immediately so that they can get free health services,” he said.

In addition, Maesyal Rasyid admitted that he wanted to increase the role of cadres in the integrated health post to be more intensive in checking the health of the community, especially toddlers and pregnant women.

As an optimization of health services for the community, he will also launch a one village one ambulance program in 246 villages and 28 sub-districts in Tangerang Regency.

“This is only a small part, including later we will also continue the Sanitren program, house renovation, and other infrastructure development in Tangerang Regency,” he said.
