This nutrition seminar serves to increase the knowledge of teenagers regarding the importance of a healthy lifestyle.

The Regional Secretary (Sekda) of Tangerang Regency, Soma Atmaja, confirmed that the Tangerang Regency Government (Pemkab) invests heavily through various education and health programs, Thursday (20/11).

To create a superior, tough, and competitive generation.

“The Tangerang District Government is investing for the future, through the APBD around Rp. 2 trillion for education and Rp. 2 trillion for health.

This shows the seriousness of the regional government in preparing the successor of the leadership baton in the future,” said Soma when opening the Health Seminar at GSG Puspemkab Tangerang, Wednesday (19/11/25).

The event raised the theme “Healthy Generation, Great Future” as part of the 61st National Health Day (HKN) Commemoration series which was attended by 150 teenagers.

In his speech, Secretary Soma said that teenagers are the pillars as well as the heirs of the future. For that, they must be prepared, both physically and mentally as well as socially and spiritually from now on.

“They will be leaders, innovators, and movers of the nation’s progress.

Therefore, they need to grow up in a healthy environment, get adequate nutrition, and have health literacy, both physical and mental and spiritual, social which starts from an early age,” he explained.

He continued, the nutrition seminar can also be one form of health investment that is very important for teenagers.

So that they can all be leaders and movers of development who are really prepared, tough, superior and highly competitive.

“Leaders are created, they don’t come suddenly. Face the future with enthusiasm. Be that as it may, you go through education until you get a bachelor’s degree, even if you can get a doctorate.”

There should not be any child in Tangerang Regency who misses school,” he exclaimed to all the participants.

Meanwhile, the Head of Tangerang Regency Health Department, Hendra Tarmidzi, said that this activity was specially designed to improve nutritional literacy and awareness of healthy living among teenagers.

He confirmed that this event brings the spirit of HKN 2025 to strengthen promotional and preventive efforts in the field of health.

“This nutrition seminar serves to increase the knowledge of teenagers regarding the importance of a healthy lifestyle.

‘Healthy Generation, Great Future’, that is the big theme we are pushing to have an impact on the creation of the Golden Indonesian Generation 2045,” said Hendra.

In the seminar, experienced speakers, Dr. Mury Kiswari, who is also the Head of Nutrition Studies Program at Esa Unggul University.

He presented various materials on the importance of balanced nutrition, correct eating patterns, and the impact on productivity and development of teenagers.

The participants seemed enthusiastic to listen to the presentation that was presented interactively.

His party hopes that through the health seminar activities, the participants will gain knowledge and motivation in implementing an active healthy lifestyle and be able to inspire other teenagers.

“After this activity, we hope that the participants will get enough knowledge and motivation.

To implement a healthy and active lifestyle in order to form a generation that is strong, intelligent and highly competitive and can be a role model for other teenage friends,” he concluded.

This event was also attended by representatives of the PKK, DWP, PMI, PMR, Paskibra Forum, OSIS Chairman’s Forum, as well as SMA/SMK students from Tangerang Regency.

The presence of these various elements strengthens the commitment of the Tangerang District Government in building a younger generation that is healthier, smarter, and ready to contribute to the future of the region and the nation.
