The Ministry of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/National Land Agency (ATR/BPN) continues to strengthen its commitment to ensuring that every citizen has the right to legal certainty regarding land ownership.

This was emphasized by the Coordinating Minister for Infrastructure and Regional Development, Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY), who was accompanied by the Deputy Minister of ATR/Deputy Head of BPN.

Ossy Dermawan, when handing over 34 land certificates to the people of Lebak Regency and Serang City.

“With the handover of these land ownership certificates, the land that has been occupied by you now has formal legality.

This is proof of legal certainty of land ownership.

I congratulate all of you,” said Coordinating Minister AHY in an activity held at the Karian Dam, Curugbitung Village, Lebak Regency, Friday (10/01/2025).

In his remarks, Deputy Minister of ATR/Deputy Head of BPN, Ossy Dermawan, also said that land certificates provide added economic value. “By having a certificate, your property and assets become more valuable,” he explained.

He also reminded that certificates should be used wisely.

“This certificate is expected to bring blessings and benefits to the community.

In addition, it can be used to obtain business capital to be more productive,” he added.

On that occasion, 20 land certificates from the Complete Systematic Land Registration (PTSL) program were handed over to the people of Lebak Regency.

As well as 14 waqf land certificates intended for houses of worship, Muslim organizations, and Islamic boarding schools in Lebak Regency and Serang City.

After handing over the certificates, Coordinating Minister AHY together with Deputy Minister of ATR/Deputy Head of BPN, and accompanied by Deputy Minister of Public Works, Diana Kusumastuti, also reviewed the infrastructure in the Karian Dam area.

Present on the occasion were Special Staff for Agrarian Reform, Rezka Oktoberia; Expert Staff for Acceleration of Strategic Issue Resolution, Hendri Teja.

Expert Staff for State Administration and Good Governance, Ajjie Arrifudin; Head of the Banten Province BPN Regional Office, Sudaryanto and staff; and Acting Regent of Lebak, Gunawan Rusminto.
