Acting Regent (Wabup) of Tangerang, Intan Nurul Hikmah inaugurated the Merah Putih Village Cooperative (KDMP) in Sangiang District. East Sepatan, Tuesday (18/11/25)
In his speech, Wabup Intan expressed his congratulations and thanks for the operation of KDMP Sangiang Kec. Sepatan Timur.
“Alhamdulillah, I was accompanied by the sub-county, DPRD member, LPM chairman, village chief and all the community leaders of Sangiang Village to inaugurate.
The Sangiang Merah Putih Village Cooperative. I really appreciate all parties for operating the Sangiang Merah Putih Village Cooperative which from today is able to serve the community,” said Wabup Intan
He added that KDMP Sangiang apart from selling groceries, there will also be a savings and loan service for the community, especially its members who need capital to work and develop their business.
“The store here sells basic raw materials for the community at an affordable price and there is also a savings and loan cooperative later to make it easier for members of the community who want to work or want to borrow credit from the cooperative for their business expenses,” he added.
He hopes that the operation of the Sangiang KDMP can also spur other Merah Putih Village Village Cooperatives to run soon so that members and the community can experience the benefits directly.
“We pray that with the operation of this Sangiang Merah Putih Village Cooperative, it will spur other Merah Putih Cooperatives to open soon.
The Tangerang regency government is committed to continuing to support and help launch the Merah Putih Village Cooperative for the well-being of the community,” he concluded.
Meanwhile, the Head of Sangiang Village who is also the Chairman of Sangiang KDMP Supervisor.
Nasrullah said that Sangiang KDMP as one of the recipients of CSR is committed to building the economy of the village community through cooperatives.
“We are one of the village cooperatives that have received CSR yesterday. So we want to build the economy of the Sangiang Village community through cooperatives,” Nasrullah explained.
He continued, currently KMP Desa Sangiang is currently prioritizing its services on the sale of groceries at an affordable price for the community. And for the savings and loan service, the party is still developing further stages.
“Currently, our cooperative mainly serves groceries at affordable prices for the community.
If it is smooth and advanced, we will also serve savings and loans in the future,” he said.
He expressed his gratitude to Wabup Intan and all the ranks of the regional authorities who have attended directly and provided motivation for KDMP Sangiang Kec. Sepatan Timur
