In December 2023, President Joko Widodo launched the Electronic Certificate for the first time.

After a year, public enthusiasm is quite high to obtain this type of electronic land certificate.

“Electronic Certificates have also been issued as many as 3,192,600 sheets in 2024,” said the Minister of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/Head of the National Land Agency (ATR/BPN).

Nusron Wahid at an activity entitled End of Year Notes of the Ministry of ATR/BPN, which took place at the Prona Hall, Jakarta, Tuesday (12/31/2024).

Currently, all Land Offices in Indonesia have served the creation of Electronic Certificates.

Every land registration carried out, be it the first registration or other land transactions, the product issued will be in the form of an Electronic Certificate.

Electronic Certificates can increase security and legal certainty by reducing the risk of damage, loss, or forgery of certificate documents.

This digital system also facilitates online access to ownership data, thus supporting efficiency in land administration and transactions.

The Minister of ATR/Head of BPN then appealed to the public to immediately convert their analog certificates to Electronic Certificates.

“Use Electronic Land Certificates, especially for those who are already registered,” he said.

Present at this activity were the Deputy Minister of ATR/Deputy Head of BPN, Ossy Dermawan, Senior High and Primary Officials of the Ministry of ATR/BPN; and 84 national media crews.
