Regent Encourages HIMATANGBAR to Become an Intellectual Locomotive, Grounding Creative and Constructive Ideas for Regional Development.

Tangerang Regent Moch Maesyal Rasyid is encouraging the West Tangerang Student Association (HIMATANGBAR) to become a locomotive for the intellectual movement, transforming big ideas into concrete actions for regional development.

This was stated by Regent Maesyal Rasyid when opening a regional seminar for the 6th HIMATANGBAR Congress, held at the Shappire Sky Hotel in Pagedangan District, Thursday (July 20, 2025).

“I hope HIMATANGBAR can become a locomotive for the intellectual movement, transforming big ideas into concrete actions that have a direct impact on improving the welfare of the community and the competitiveness of Tangerang Regency,” said Regent Maesyal Rasyid.

He also emphasized that the development of Tangerang Regency, as outlined in the RPJMD (Regional Medium-Term Development Plan), requires the support and active participation of the entire community, including students.

Students, with their analytical skills, moral strength, and critical thinking, can become agents of change, bringing improvement and progress to regional development.

“This extraordinary student potential is certainly expected to become a significant force in overseeing regional development to be more participatory, inclusive, and oriented towards social justice.

I am confident that HIMATANGBAR is capable of carrying out this significant task,” he concluded.

HIMATANGBAR Chairman, Muhamad Aldiansyah, stated that the 6th congress was not only an event to elect a chairman but also to evaluate the previous leadership so that the new leadership could better and optimally carry out the organization’s mandate.

“Hopefully, this event will be a very solemn event, not only to appoint a new chairman and management.

But also to evaluate the implementation of the previous management so that the new leadership can better and optimally carry out the organization’s mandate,” he explained.
