The Tangerang Regency Government (Pemkab) held a free NIB Legality Pick-up Program for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in the Kelapa Dua District Hall. Wednesday, (11/6/25).
The event, which was attended directly by Tangerang Regent H. Moch. Maesyal Rasyid, Deputy Regent Hj. Intan Nurul Hikmah, and the Creative Economy Committee, is a form of the regional government’s commitment to encouraging the legality and empowerment of local business actors.
In his remarks, Regent Maesyal Rasyid emphasized the importance of accelerating the business legalization process to provide legal certainty, convenience and solutions for MSME actors.
The NIB legality pick-up program held in Kelapa Dua District and other districts is free of charge.
“Business Identification Number is a must-have for every entrepreneur. It’s free! If anyone charges a fee, report it immediately.
This is our obligation,” said Regent Maesyal Rasyid.
He continued, the government is here to facilitate, provide convenience, and will find solutions if there are obstacles.
There are around 61 thousand MSME actors in Tangerang Regency.
Through this ball-calling activity, business actors are assisted directly to take care of their business legality without having to bother going to the office.
Deputy Regent Intan Nurul Hikmah added that this program is also part of a major strategy to open up employment opportunities, reduce unemployment.
With the increasing development of MSMEs, employment opportunities are increasingly open and the regional economy will be stronger.
“When MSMEs develop, employment opportunities are open, unemployment decreases, and the regional economy rotates. The regional government is here to ensure that this really happens,” said Deputy Regent Intan.
In addition to the NIB legalization process, the local government also involves the Cooperatives Service, Licensing Service, and banking partners such as Bank Jabar Banten and BUMD to provide easy and light access to capital for MSMEs.
At the event, the Regent and Deputy Regent of Tangerang symbolically handed over the NIB to MSMEs in Kelapa Dua District.
