“Not only land registration, we are also pursuing digital transformation. We want to complete the registration of 120 million plots of land by the end of this year.

“It’s not an easy job, but we are now on the right track,” he said.

Minister AHY also explained that the Indonesian Government ensures inequality in land control through Land Redistribution, which is part of the Agrarian Reform program.

Talking about digital mapping, the Singapore Ambassador to Indonesia, Kwok Fook Seng, said that the area of Singapore is much smaller than the total area of Indonesia.

“Singapore is more or less wider than Jakarta. In land operations in Singapore, we carry out digital mapping.

“This three-dimensional digital mapping covers land, underground and even buildings,” explained Kwok Fook Seng.

Singapore also continues to strive to build a smart city-based country through ‘Smart Nation Singapore’.

“Smart Nation itself is a combination of developing hardware, software, and citizens who are able to use it (able to run tools from smart city red),” explained Kwok Fook Seng.

Meanwhile, at this meeting, Minister AHY was accompanied by Special Staff for Internal Management, Agust Jovan Latuconsina and Expert Staff for Internal Management, Mira Permatasari.
