Minister of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/Head of the National Land Agency (ATR/BPN), Nusron Wahid inspected the location of the issuance of Building Use Rights (HGB) Certificates above the sea in Bekasi Regency, Tuesday (04/02/2025).
He revealed indications of data manipulation related to land plots recorded in the area.
Based on direct observation, discrepancies were found between the recorded land plot map data and the actual conditions.
“For the land affected by this manipulation, we will immediately cancel the certificates issued illegally.
We will coordinate with the Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries (KKP) regarding the opening of the sea fence that separates the land from the sea,” explained Minister Nusron.
In Segara Jaya Village, Bekasi Regency, there are 89 land plot maps owned by 67 owners and have been included in the Complete Systematic Land Registration (PTSL) program.
The Minister of ATR/Head of BPN explained that the land map data had been manipulated by moving the map and Land Area Identification Number (NIB) which should not match the location.
“Initially on land, the number was 72 hectares. In fact, according to the NIB, the land area that we reviewed earlier was only 11 hectares,” he said.
According to him, the total area of land whose data was manipulated reached 581 hectares. Of these, 90 hectares belong to PT Cikarang Listrindo (CL), 419 hectares belong to PT Mega Agung Nusantara (MAN).
And 72 hectares of PTSL land that was issued in 2021, but was moved in 2022 to the sea area. With this finding, the BPN will immediately take firm steps.
Furthermore, Minister Nusron emphasized that parties involved in the data manipulation process, including individuals at the Ministry of ATR/BPN, will be processed legally.
“We are investigating the BPN officials involved in the transfer of this map.
If there are indications of a crime, we will hand over this case to law enforcement,” he said.
Related to the land for which the HGB Certificate was issued in 2013, Minister Nusron will ask the relevant parties to cancel the certificate.
“Because the HGB Certificate is more than five years old, we cannot cancel it automatically.
However, we will ask them to submit a cancellation request.
If they object, we will take this case to court to obtain a cancellation decision,” he explained.
