Defendant’s Examination Trial Agenda. Judge Questions Charlie Chandra Until Evening.

TANGERANG, POSINTERNASIONAL.COM.

The follow-up trial of the alleged document forgery case involving defendant Charlie Candra was held again at the Tangerang Class 1A District Court.

This time, the trial agenda included the examination of the defendant and the testimony of one expert witness presented by the defense counsel.

During the defendant’s examination, the panel of judges and the public prosecutor (JPU) grilled Charlie Chandra until 9:00 p.m. on Friday (August 1, 2025).

Judge Muhammad Alfi Sahrin Usup questioned defendant Charlie Chandra through the entire series of questions that were the main focus of the trial.

Several questions posed by the panel of judges were unanswered or unknown to the defendant.

Defendant Charlie Candra’s lack of knowledge of the answers made the trial protracted until 9:00 p.m.

“Have you ever asked or approached the sub-district head or village head regarding the Deed of Sale and Purchase in the name of Mungil?” asked the panel of judges.

“Never, Your Honor,” replied Charlie.

The judge then emphasized that Deed of Sale and Purchase 202 was one of the objects of the case report.

“But, according to the sub-district head, this Deed of Sale and Purchase has already been issued. You never asked or reported this to the sub-district head?”

“Never, because referring to Decision Number 51, it states that the previous sub-district head never registered an Deed of Sale and Purchase in the name of The Pit Nio with Wisnu,” Charlie explained.

Meanwhile, the Public Prosecutor (JPU) also grilled the defendant with various questions, particularly regarding his involvement in the case and his control over the disputed land.

The prosecutor touched on Charlie’s communications with a party named Sukamto, as well as statements indicating that the defendant knew a great deal from previous legal events, including criminal and civil decisions.

“Do you know the entire story about the Lemo land certificate from criminal decisions, civil decisions, and so on?” asked the prosecutor.

“I only know some of it, not all of it,” Charlie replied.

He added that he never submitted the documents or decision to any party because he felt the need to first verify the validity of the existing certificate.
