Minister of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/Head of the National Land Agency (ATR/BPN), Nusron Wahid asked the ranks of the Bali Province BPN Regional Office (Kanwil) to prepare to answer the challenges of modern bureaucracy.

According to him, these challenges can be overcome through the transformation of land services with a simplification of business processes that prioritize accuracy, are prudent, accountable, consider risk management, and are transparent, as well as strengthening technological infrastructure.

“Our society today is smart and critical. Therefore, the face of our office must change or transform.

We must change our service business process to be simpler, faster, but still prioritize accuracy, both legal and physical and historical data,” said Minister Nusron while giving a briefing at the Bali Province BPN Regional Office, Friday (13/12/2024).

Regarding the strengthening of technological infrastructure, Bali Province is the first region to officially implement electronic land services in all districts/cities since last May.

Thus, the Land Office located in nine regencies/cities in Bali increasingly facilitates the community and streamlines the continuity of services to the community.

Although fast, Minister Nusron also emphasized that caution is a priority, especially to ensure that the land to be registered does not experience disputes in the future.

He also emphasized that every product produced must be accountable.

“Second, prudent, must be careful whether the land we want to certify overlaps or not.

Third, must be accountable, can be accounted for because what we produce is a legal product,” he added.

According to Minister Nusron, risk management must also be used as the main foundation. Land services must be based on risk management by considering the potential for conflict and overlap in the future.

“Fourth, must be based on risk management, you must think ahead, the risk of conflict, the risk of overlap exists or not,” he said.

“Fifth, transparent, can be controlled by the community. We must become a modern bureaucracy,” Minister Nusron appealed to his staff at the Bali Provincial BPN Regional Office.

With the transformation carried out, the Ministry of ATR/BPN continues to strive to make land services more adaptive, effective, and relevant to the needs of the community.

This transformation is also expected to not only make things easier for the community, but also strengthen public trust in land and spatial planning services.

Present on this occasion, the Director General of Spatial Planning, Dwi Hariyawan; Secretary of the Directorate General of Spatial Planning, Reny Windyawati; Head of the Public Relations Bureau, Harison Mocodompis; and Plt. Head of the Bali Provincial BPN Regional Office, I Made Sumadra along with all Administrator Officials within the Bali Provincial BPN Regional Office.
