Gada Pratama Security Guard Training Batch I 2025: Collaboration between Tangerang Regency Government and PT PIK 2 to Absorb Local Workforce.

Tangerang Regency Government in collaboration with PT Pantai Indah Kapuk 2 Tbk. (PIK 2), through the Kosambi Job Training Center (BLK) held the first batch of 2025 Gada Pratama qualification Security Guard (Satpam) training. Tuesday, (24/6/25).

This training was attended by 52 participants, all of whom were residents of Tangerang Regency, and was held from 23 to 27 June 2025.

Tangerang Regent, Moch. Maesyal Rasyid, in his remarks said that this activity was a real step in preparing competent and work-ready local human resources, especially in the security sector.

He emphasized that this training is not only a means of improving skills, but also an opportunity for absorption of workers by companies operating in the Tangerang Regency area, including the PIK 2 area.

“I don’t want this BLK not to contribute to the Tangerang Regency community. It’s okay for people from outside to be trained here, but our people must be prioritized,” said the Regent.

He also encouraged PIK 2 so that in the future training at BLK would not only be limited to the security unit field.

But also expanded to other fields such as AC technicians, public services, and others, adjusting to the needs of the industrial world, and the needs of PIK 2,

“We hope that there will not only be security guard training, but also various other training such as technicians and other public services, according to the needs of the industry and PIK 2,” he said

Head of the Tangerang Regency Manpower Office, Rudi Hartono, explained that this training is a form of integration between training and job selection (link and match).

Where participants not only get competency provisions, but are also directed to be directly absorbed in the workforce.

This training is also supported by PT Ranger Garda Utama and Ditbinmas Polda Banten which will facilitate the issuance of Satpam Membership Cards (KTA) for participants who pass.

“We want to ensure that participants who have been trained can immediately fill the available job opportunities according to their competencies,” explained Rudi.

Meanwhile, Head of CSR PT PIK 2, Rio said that his party is committed to opening up job opportunities for local residents.

According to him, although there are still post-training selection stages, participants already have advantages because they have been equipped and facilitated by the local government and official institutions.

“We are optimizing so that these students can be absorbed in PIK 2. Those who have not passed the selection still have provisions and opportunities out there,” he said.

This program is the first batch of a series of similar trainings that are planned to continue in the second and third batches, especially in the field of security units.

“Hopefully this training can continue to strengthen the contribution of BLK Kosambi in creating a workforce that is ready to compete in the industrial world,” he added
