TANGERANG, POSINTERNASIONAL.COM.
The Head of the Banten Province Regional Office of the National Land Agency (BPN), Harison Mocodompis, along with the Director General of Land and Spatial Surveying and Mapping, Virgo Eresta Jaya.
And the Head of the Survey and Measurement Division, Septein Paramia Swantika, officially launched the Scheduled Measurement Service at four Land Offices: Tangerang City, Tangerang Regency, South Tangerang City, and Cilegon City.
This took place at the Tangerang City Land Office Hall on February 12, 2026.
Land measurement services are a strategic service that plays a crucial role in ensuring legal certainty over land rights. Accurate measurement data is the main foundation for the entire land registration process, from plot boundary determination and mapping to certificate issuance.
In his remarks, Harison Mocodompis emphasized that the launch of this service is a strategic step to improve the service process to make it more certain and measurable.
“Today we will launch the scheduled land surveying service. This is certainly a strategic step that plays a crucial role in ensuring legal certainty. I can only express my gratitude for all the efforts that have been made by my colleagues,” he said.
He also revealed that his experience in completing various land programs has taught him the importance of data readiness and planning from the start.
According to him, service obstacles often arise not only due to limited resources, but also due to a lack of completeness and verification at the initial stage.
“Ensuring everything is complete before pricing, SPS, and so on are implemented. Because I know the Director General is a person who cannot be broken if we don’t have data.
Right? So if this scheduled land surveying service is launched today, it will likely be rolled out across Indonesia.
This is certain because there is data showing that this land surveying service plays a significant role in the potential for services to be hampered due to unpreparedness,” he explained.
Harison added that this policy provides momentum for performance improvements so that they are not only focused on fulfilling standard operating procedures (SOPs) but also have a direct impact on increasing public trust.
“We applaud the steps taken by the Directorate General that you lead.
This is one of the most strategic ways to begin improving what may not have been our KPI.
With this as our KPI, we hope that we will not only work according to the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), but that implementing the correct SOPs will restore, and even increase, public trust,” he emphasized.
He also expressed the readiness of all levels of the Banten Province BPN Regional Office to secure and ensure the success of this policy.
“In front of all of you, we, the Banten Province Land Agency (BPN), especially those in Division 1, Session 1.
Declare our readiness to safeguard and ensure the success of the policies adopted by the Ministry of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/BPN, and we will implement them,” Harison emphasized.
Meanwhile, the Head of the Survey and Measurement Division, Septein Paramia Swantika, explained that the Scheduled Measurement Service is designed to ensure that every measurement application has a clear and agreed-upon schedule from the outset.
This service is also supported by a plot check mechanism and thorough verification of administrative completeness from the initial stage.
“With this service, the public is expected to receive greater certainty regarding service procedures, administrative requirements, and the timing of field measurements.
This certainty not only increases public trust in land services but also encourages active participation of applicants in preparing the requirements,” he said.
In response, the Director General of Land and Spatial Surveys and Mapping, Virgo Eresta Jaya, emphasized that this service addresses the perception that services have been slow and uncertain.
“We hope that the current perception of BPN services as slow and unclear and with certainty will end.” “What we hope is that the BPN service will now be fast and provide certainty,” he said.
Virgo explained that under this service scheme, the public can choose their own day for land surveying, while ensuring all requirements are complete before the designated date.
“The public chooses their own day, prepares their requirements, and we guarantee that if all requirements are met.
The officer will arrive on the second day, and the process will be completed in one day,” he emphasized.
Through the implementation of this Scheduled Land Survey Service, it is hoped that land services in Banten Province will become more modern, orderly, and equitable.
While also providing tangible benefits in the form of time certainty, procedural transparency, and increased public trust in land institutions.
