Minister Nusron Invites Regional Heads Throughout Southeast Sulawesi to Collaborate to Overcome Challenges in Realizing Modern Land Administration.

KENDARI, POSINTERNASIONAL.COM.

Minister of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/Head of the National Land Agency (ATR/BPN), Nusron Wahid, on Wednesday (05/28/2025), invited regional heads in Southeast Sulawesi to collaborate to realize a modern and inclusive land administration system.

The system consists of four main clusters, namely land tenure, land value, land use, and land development.

In its implementation, challenges will emerge and these can be better overcome if all parties are involved, including the regional government (Pemda).

“We cannot do this without collaborating. With whom? With the local government, with regional heads, be it governors, regents and mayors.

“He emphasized in the Land and Spatial Planning Coordination Meeting with the Provincial Government and Districts/Cities throughout Southeast Sulawesi, in the Pola Bahteramas Room of the Southeast Sulawesi Governor’s Office”, said.

Minister Nusron said that he had visited 15 provinces to build synergy in implementing various land and spatial planning programs.

Some of them are Agrarian Reform, Land Acquisition, and spatial planning. Southeast Sulawesi is the 16th province he has visited with the hope of strengthening collaboration.

In terms of Agrarian Reform, for example, Minister Nusron hopes that the coordination carried out by the Ministry of ATR/BPN and the Southeast Sulawesi Provincial Government can be strengthened.

“Considering that regional heads also serve ex-officio as Chair of the Agrarian Reform Task Force (GTRA). This is to be clear, so that there is joint responsibility,” he concluded.

He further explained that the local government is the one that plays a role in determining the subject of land benefits.

“It is our job to determine the land objects that will undergo Agrarian Reform. However, it is the job of the Regional Heads to determine the subjects, who will receive Agrarian Reform,” said Minister Nusron.

On this occasion, Minister Nusron also handed over land certificates for regional government assets, consisting of 5 certificates for Southeast Sulawesi Provincial Government assets and 71 certificates for Regency Government assets throughout Southeast Sulawesi.

He also handed over land certificates for waqf to representatives of religious institutions who were present.

The 10 waqf certificates and houses of worship that were handed over this time consisted of 6 certificates for mosques, 1 certificate for prayer rooms, 1 certificate for churches, and 2 certificates for temples.

At this moment, Minister Nusron explained about land and spatial planning matters, handed over certificates from the results of the ATR/BPN Ministry program, and opened a discussion session to discuss strategic issues in Southeast Sulawesi.

Also present at this Coordination Meeting were Deputy Chairman of Commission II of the Indonesian House of Representatives, Bahtra.
