The Ministry of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/National Land Agency (ATR/BPN) is working to strengthen regulations in the field of spatial planning.

In order to support investment. This was conveyed by the Minister of ATR/Head of BPN.

Nusron Wahid at the Joint Working Meeting with Commission II of the Indonesian People’s Representative Council (DPR RI) at the Nusantara Building DPR RI, Jakarta on Wednesday (30/10/2024).

“We are preparing a Draft Government Regulation (RPP) regarding National Regional Spatial Planning or RTRWN as a follow-up to Law Number 59 of 2024.

“Concerning the National Long Term Development Plan from 2025 to 2045,” said Nusron Wahid when explaining the Red and White Cabinet’s 100 Working Day Program. Previously,

Minister Nusron also emphasized that the ATR/BPN Ministry had begun coordinating vertically and horizontally regarding the preparation of the Detailed Spatial Planning Plan or RDTR as a derivative of the RTRWN.

In the future, RDTR must be integrated with Online Single Submission (OSS) to facilitate the entry of investment in Indonesia.

“When I was a Member of the DPR in Commission VI, we all often complained about the slow pace of the PKKPR (Approval of Conformity of Space Utilization Activities) documents. After sitting here, I know,”  was the reply.

It turns out that in the PKKPR document, even though the name of the ministry is ATR/BPN, the spatial planning regime is still the authority of the regional government (Pemda).

There are still many local governments that don’t have an online system for spatial planning and don’t even have maps and so on.

“This is something we have to coordinate,” explained Minister Nusron.

On this occasion, Chairman of Commission II DPR RI, Muhammad Rifqinizamy Karsayuda welcomed the efforts of the Ministry of ATR/BPN to complete the RTRWN and RDTR targets.
