Tangerang Regency continues to strengthen its position as a center for MSME growth in Banten.
This was evident in the 2025 Micro Business Incubation and Entrepreneur Hub Graduation Ceremony, which marked the birth of new ultra-micro and super-micro entrepreneurs ready to advance.
Enter the modern market chain, and even explore export opportunities.
Tangerang Deputy Regent Intan Nurul Hikmah, who attended the event, described the graduating participants as new energy and driving forces for the people’s economy in Tangerang Regency.
They received mentoring from experts and professionals.
During the mentoring process, the participants participated in product curation, coaching clinics, bootcamps, business pitches, and direct exploration with financing and marketing partners.
“You are the new energy and driving forces for the people’s economy in Tangerang Regency,” explained Deputy Regent Intan at the Yasmin Hotel, Karawaci, Tangerang, on Wednesday (12/10/25).
According to her, Tangerang’s microeconomic potential is growing stronger along with the growth of new MSMEs and the development of culinary and herbal centers.
The rapid growth of the fashion and creative industries sectors, along with the extensive market access within the capital’s buffer zone, is crucial.
This potential is the basis for the local government to continue strengthening incubation, mentoring, legality, and marketing programs. Intan also encouraged all MSMEs to continue innovating and advancing.
“Use this opportunity to expand your network, increase your competitiveness, and bring your local products to a bigger stage,” she said.
Echoing this sentiment, Anna Ratna Maemunah, Head of the Tangerang Regency Cooperatives and Micro Enterprises Office (Diskum), stated that this event is not merely a graduation ceremony, but part of a broader strategy to strengthen the MSME ecosystem.
“This program aims to recognize participants, strengthen business sustainability through business networking, and also serve as a momentum for evaluation to develop the program for the following year,” Anna explained.
The program, which runs from August to December for the Ultra Micro Incubation and October to November 2025 for the Entrepreneur Hub, is designed to strengthen the sustainability of participants’ businesses through business networking, market access, and collaboration opportunities.
“This year, the program attracted 36 Micro Business Incubation participants and 49 Entrepreneur Hub participants, supported by nine financing partners and 14 marketing partners.
These partners range from banks, cooperatives, retail companies, regional hospitals, and even hotel chains,” he said.
He also noted that several participants had already recorded business transactions.
Either independently or through partners, from August to December 2025, totaling over IDR 684 million.
“With this graduation, we hope that more micro-entrepreneurs will move up the ladder, strengthen their positions, and become a vital part of driving a dynamic and sustainable regional economy,” he concluded.
