Tangerang Regent Moch. Maesyal Rasyid, along with Banten Governor Andra Soni, symbolically inaugurated the Job Training Institute (LPK) and Adis Mart, an employee cooperative of PT Adis Dimension Footwear, in Balaraja District, Monday (11/17/25).
In his remarks, Tangerang Regent Moch. Maesyal Rasyid expressed his appreciation to PT Adis Dimension Footwear.
Which he considered consistent as a strategic partner for the local government in improving the quality of the workforce and expanding employee welfare through cooperative development.
“The inauguration of the LPK and Adis Mart Cooperative marks the strong commitment of the local government and PT Adis to improving workforce skills and expanding employee welfare through cooperative development,” said Regent Maesyal Rasyid.
He added that the local government had previously opened skills training at the Jayanti Vocational Training Center (BLK Jayanti) for 400 participants.
The training was a collaboration with various companies in Tangerang Regency, including PT Adis.
“Of the 400 training participants, PT Adis was extraordinary, accepting 250 people immediately. This is a true demonstration of collaboration between the local government and the business world,” he added.
He also emphasized that PT Adis is one of the local government’s partner companies, synergizing and collaborating in regional development.
Therefore, he hopes PT Adis will continue to strengthen its commitment, including maintaining stable labor relations and avoiding layoffs.
“Under any circumstances, on behalf of the local government, we ask that there be no layoffs.
Because if one large company lays off employees, I’m afraid other companies will follow suit,” he said.
He also hopes that the Adis Mart Cooperative will continue to grow and provide benefits to both PT Adis workers and the surrounding community.
“This is an extraordinary cooperative. In addition to its members and employees, it is now expanding its reach to the community. May it continue to provide benefits,” he concluded.
Banten Governor Andra Soni expressed similar sentiments.
In his remarks, he expressed his deep appreciation for PT Adis Dimension Footwear’s commitment to developing and enhancing human resource capacity and welfare through cooperatives.
According to the Governor, PT Adis is one of the shoe factories with domestic investment (PMDN) managed by local people, and possesses strong and visionary leadership.
“I enjoy hanging out with optimistic people. And I see PT Adis, especially Mr. Haryanto, as someone who possesses high optimism and is able to spread it throughout the company,” said Andra Soni.
Furthermore, he hoped that the newly inaugurated Job Training Institute could also become a learning center for cooperative development and workforce training in Banten.
“We want to learn from PT Adis. The existing training equipment can be utilized to train the community on a regular basis.
The provincial government is ready to collaborate,” he said.
The Governor also emphasized that optimism and collaboration between the regional government, the business community, and the community are key to Banten Province’s progress.
“This initiative is expected to become a model for effective collaboration in improving human resources, empowering cooperatives, and creating jobs in Tangerang Regency and Banten in general,” he concluded.
