Tangerang Regent Presents Decrees for the Appointment of Community Health Center Heads, Emphasizes Wholehearted Service to the Community.

Tangerang Regent Moch. Maesyal Rasyid presented 10 Decrees (SK) concerning the Appointment of Heads of Regional Technical Implementation Units (UPTD) of Community Health Centers (Puskesmas) to the Tangerang Regency Health Office.

The handover took place in the Wareng Meeting Room, Tangerang Regent’s Building, Monday (January 19, 2026).

The handover of these decrees is part of the Tangerang Regency Government’s efforts to strengthen basic health services for the community.

Community health centers, as the spearhead of government health services, are expected to provide quality, accessible, and community-oriented services.

In his directive, Regent Maesyal asked the Community Health Center Heads to carry out their mandate with gratitude, sincerity, and responsibility.

He emphasized the importance of friendly, professional, empathetic, and integrity-based service, in line with Tangerang Regency’s development mission to achieve quality healthcare.

“Provide the best service to the community, serve with heart, be friendly, professional, empathetic, and with integrity.

Don’t let people come to the Community Health Center (Puskesmas) and feel they are not being served well,” emphasized Regent Maesyal.

He emphasized that Puskesmas, as the frontline of health services, are an extension of the government, truly present and in direct contact with the community.

Therefore, the role of the Head of a Puskesmas is very strategic and full of responsibility.

“Puskesmas are the spearhead of government health services. That’s where we are truly present, directly reaching the community. Therefore, the job of the Head of a Puskesmas is not an easy one.

This task is a mandate, a trust, and of course, a great responsibility,” he said.

Furthermore, he also asked the Heads of Puskesmas to quickly adapt to the new work environment and build solid collaboration with all health workers, cadres.

Sub-district and village governments, and other cross-sectoral agencies. According to him, health programs can only succeed through strong collaboration and synergy.

“Health programs cannot be carried out alone; there must be collaboration and synergy with many parties, across sectors,” he said.

Furthermore, he reminded all Community Health Center (Puskesmas) Heads to always comply with laws and regulations, maintain discipline and ethics, and avoid actions that could harm.

“Demonstrate that health civil servants in Tangerang Regency are professional, possess integrity, and are truly oriented towards public service,” he added.

In closing his remarks, Regent Maesyal expressed his hope that the Community Health Center Heads would also be driving forces to improve the quality of basic health services.
