Minister of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/Head of the National Land Agency (ATR/BPN), Nusron Wahid attended a Hearing Meeting (RDP) with the Public Accountability Agency (BAP) of the Regional Representative Council of the Republic of Indonesia (DPD RI) at Building B DPD RI, Jakarta, Thursday (11/28/2024).

On this occasion, Minister Nusron responded to public complaints regarding the National Strategic Projects (PSN) spread across a number of regions in Indonesia, one of which is the Tropical Coastland Tourism PSN in Banten.

“Only 1,705 hectares are included in the PIK 2 Tourism PSN. Of the 1,705 hectares, 1,500 hectares are included in the forest area and the forest is protected forest,” explained Nusron Wahid.

The 1,705 hectares included in the PSN are located along the North Coast of Tangerang, Muara Village to Kronjo Village.

Meanwhile, those included in the PSN area include Tanjung Pasir Village covering 54 hectares with existing conditions mostly in the form of ponds.

Kohod Village covering 261 hectares with existing conditions in the form of ponds or mangroves; Muara Village and Tanjung Pasir Village covering 302 hectares with existing conditions in the form of ponds and mangrove forests.

Muara Village covering 217 hectares with existing conditions in the form of ponds; and Mauk Village and Kronjo Village covering 687 hectares with existing conditions in the form of swamps and ponds.

“These are those included in the PSN that have been determined by the Coordinating Minister for the Economy, the others are not included in the PSN area.

So those outside this map saying that they are included in the PSN are not true, the PSN is only 1,705 hectares which will be used for tourism purposes, for mangrove tourism, will be used for tourism purposes,” explained Minister Nusron.

Regarding the development of the PIK 2 area, Minister Nusron said that there were still obstacles.

Some of them have inconsistencies with the Spatial Planning Plan (RTR), be it the Jabodetabekpunjur KSN RTR, the Banten Province Regional Spatial Planning Regulation (Perda), and the Tangerang Regency RTRW Perda.

In addition, based on the Decree of the Minister of Environment and Forestry, the PIK 2 area is still in a forest area.

This requires a recommendation for the Suitability of Spatial Utilization Activities (KKPR) from the Minister of ATR/Head of BPN, based on the Job Creation Law Number 6 of 2023 and Presidential Regulation Number 58 of 2017 concerning Amendments to Presidential Regulation Number 3 of 2016 concerning the Acceleration of the Implementation of National Strategic Projects.

“In issuing recommendations, we will conduct a technical study on the suitability of spatial utilization considering that the focus of the PSN in 2024-2029 is projects that support the interests of food self-sufficiency, energy self-sufficiency, downstreaming, and the Giant Sea Wall of Jakarta and the North Coast of Jakarta.

We are examining this, whether it falls into this category or not, so we cannot draw a conclusion yet,” explained Minister Nusron.

This Hearing Meeting was led by the Chairman of the BAP DPD RI and Senator from Lampung Province, Abdul Hakim, accompanied by the Deputy Chairman of the DPD RI, Tamsil Linrung.

Also present accompanying the Minister of ATR/Head of BPN, were a number of High-Ranking and Pratama Officials of the Ministry of ATR/BPN.
