Tangerang Regent Moch. Maesyal Rasyid expressed his gratitude and highest appreciation to the GP Ansor and Banser families for their contributions to maintaining unity on Sunday (December 28th).

This was conveyed while attending the roll call of 3,400 Ansor Banser members and the simultaneous inauguration of GP Ansor branch leaders from sub-districts/villages throughout Tangerang Regency, in Curug District, Saturday (December 27th, 2025).
“My deepest gratitude and appreciation to the thousands of Ansor and Banser cadres who not only demonstrate the strength of the organization,
but also reflect militancy, solidarity, and a strong national commitment to maintaining the integrity of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia (NKRI),” said Regent Maesyal Rasyid.
In his remarks, he emphasized that GP Ansor and Banser are youth organizations that are strategic partners of the government in maintaining harmony.
Social stability and security, especially in Tangerang Regency.
“GP Ansor and Banser are not just youth organizations, but strategic partners of the local government in maintaining social stability, security, and upholding moderate Islamic values and nationalism,” he concluded.
He continued, explaining that throughout various moments in the nation’s history, Ansor and Banser have always been present as guardians of Islamic scholars and guardians of the values of Islam, rahmatan lil ‘alamin (blessing for the universe), as well as bulwarks of the Pancasila ideology.
The role of GP Ansor and Banser is strategic amidst the challenges of the times such as intolerance, radicalism, and social disintegration.
“GP “Ansor and Banser have a long history as guardians of Islamic scholars, upholding Islamic values and bulwarks of the Pancasila ideology.
Amidst current challenges such as intolerance, radicalism, and social disintegration, the role of GP Ansor and Banser is increasingly relevant and strategic,” he added.
He also congratulated all GP Ansor sub-district and village branch leaders who were inaugurated simultaneously.
He also advised the branch leaders, as the spearhead of the organization, to engage with and directly impact the community.
“This inauguration is a great mandate.
“Branch leaders must be able to mobilize cadres, strengthen organizational consolidation,
and present programs that are beneficial and provide solutions for communities at the village and sub-district levels,” he emphasized.
He also advised all Ansor and Banser cadres to always maintain solidarity, discipline, and organizational loyalty,
and to be role models in society by upholding the values of tolerance, brotherhood, and mutual cooperation.
“Continue to be faithful to the teachings of Ahlussunnah wal Jama’ah and firmly uphold the national commitment to Pancasila, the 1945 Constitution, Bhinneka Tunggal Ika, and the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia,” he concluded.
Furthermore, he stated that the Tangerang Regency Government is open and committed to strengthening synergy and collaboration with GP Ansor and Banser in various fields.
These include social and community development, education, economic empowerment, disaster management, and strengthening national insight.
On this occasion, GP Ansor also expressed its appreciation to the Tangerang Regency Government, which was received by the Regent for the regional government’s attention and concern for Islamic boarding school.
