Head of the Banten Province National Land Agency (BPN) Regional Office, H. Sudaryanto, SH, MM, said the importance of spatial certainty in Banten Province in providing investment facilities that bring many benefits, including attracting both domestic and foreign investors.

“When talking about investment, investors need a suitable location according to their type of business,” said Sudaryanto when opening the Technical Guidance for Spatial Utilization Activity Suitability Services (KKPR) for Business and Non-Business Activities in the Region on Thursday (11/21/2024).
He continued that BPN collaborates with local governments to attract investment starting from preparing permits in the framework of KKPR, where if the permit application is in a location that does not yet have a Detailed Spatial Plan (RDTR), it will be processed by issuing technical land considerations first,
“Technical land considerations are one of the assessments of land suitability, land capability and other risks to land use in implementing investment, in this Pertek we are very supportive for licensing activities in KKPR services,” he explained.
Then after the permit is obtained, investors can take care of the acquisition of their land according to its designation, it can be a Land Use Rights (HGB) for example for housing, Land Use Rights (HGU) for agricultural or fish pond businesses.
On the same occasion, the Head of the Arrangement and Empowerment Division of the Banten Province BPN Regional Office, Fahmi said that BPN organizes land registration to provide legal certainty through land certification.
Then what activities may be carried out in these areas are regulated in the regional spatial planning, “For licensing of company activities, there is now OSS (Online Single Submission-res).
That activities carried out by business entities and all parties must be able to mitigate risks so as not to disrupt the surrounding environment, therefore there is a licensing process,” he said.
In addition to being attended by elements of the Banten Provincial Government such as the Head of the Banten Province Investment and Integrated One-Stop Service (DPMPTSP), Virgojanti, and other agencies.
Also present were a number of business actors engaged in the housing development sector, the Chairperson of the Banten Province Land Deed Making Officials (IPPAT) Regional Management, the Chairperson of the Banten DPD Real Estate Indonesia (REI) and other invited guests.
Fahmi said that the importance of collaboration between business actors, the community and the government is that infrastructure development plans must be integrated with business actors’ plans in developing their business areas.
So that it can support each other to create a good investment climate and economic growth in Banten Province, “The ease of the licensing process will spur economic movement, meaning that if everyone is happy, the process of implementing development activities in the field will be better,” he said.
