Minister of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/Head of the National Land Agency (ATR/BPN) Nusron Wahid went directly to the eviction location in Setia Mekar Village, Bekasi Regency to provide solutions for the community, Saturday (08/02).
Thus, Minister Nusron emphasized the presence of the state in resolving community problems.
“I am grateful that today I can meet with Mrs. Asmawati, Mrs. Mursiti, and Mr. Yaldi.
Earlier there, I reviewed the location of five houses from mothers, three of the five people whose houses have been evicted,” said Minister Nusron after reviewing the physical condition of the eviction of houses in Bekasi Regency, Friday (07/02/2025).
Minister Nusron met directly with the community to have a dialogue and see the eviction location. He also expressed his sympathy for the evicted victims.
He explained that all parties must clarify that in the judicial process there is a coordination stage between parties.
In the future, Minister Nusron will coordinate with the Cikarang District Court and facilitate mediation between the disputing parties, including residents affected by the eviction.
“We will try to fight for the replacement of houses that have been evicted because these residents bought the land legally and were not involved in the existing conflict,” said the Minister of ATR/Head of BPN.
Minister Nusron also emphasized the importance of a humanitarian approach in the land execution process.
“Even if the execution should also use humanitarian principles, not with inhumane principles, just evict.
There are people, they should approach first that this is replaced first with mercy and so on,” he concluded.
During this review, Minister Nusron was accompanied by a number of High-Ranking and Pratama Officials of the Ministry of ATR/BPN, Head of the West Java Province BPN Regional Office; and the Head of the Bekasi Regency Land Office.
