The Ministry of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/National Land Agency (ATR/BPN) received various appreciations in a Working Meeting with Commission II of the Indonesian House of Representatives (DPR RI) at the Nusantara II Building, Jakarta, on Thursday (30/01/2025).

The appreciation was given for the performance achievements in 2024 and also 100 working days, including the ministry’s firm steps in handling the Building Use Rights (HGB) certificate issue in Tangerang Regency, optimizing Agrarian Reform, and eradicating land mafia.

The Chairman of Commission II of the Indonesian House of Representatives, Muhammad Rifqinizamy Karsayuda, expressed his appreciation for every performance carried out by the Ministry of ATR/BPN.

“We express our highest gratitude and appreciation for the presentation of the nine programs of the 100 working days of the Minister who has explained the progress of performance and achievements that have been made,” he said.

Meanwhile, Member of Commission II of the Indonesian House of Representatives, Heri Gunawan highlighted the success of the Ministry of ATR/BPN in managing the 2024 budget.

He also noted that several programs even exceeded the target, such as the approval of the Detailed Spatial Plan (RDTR) and Complete Systematic Land Registration (PTSL) which reached more than 100 percent.

“We appreciate the budget realization of IDR 7.8 trillion or 99.04 percent of the total non-blocking budget.

This shows optimization in various programs, including Land Redistribution and eradication of land mafia,” said Heri Gunawan.

The firm steps of the Minister of ATR/Head of BPN in handling certification cases in the sea fence area also received appreciation from Taufan Pawe, another Member of Commission II of the Indonesian House of Representatives.

“I appreciate the Minister’s attitude in canceling several problematic land rights,” he said.

Responding to the praise given at the meeting, the Minister of ATR/Head of BPN, Nusron Wahid said that every level of the Ministry of ATR/BPN will continue to strive to work as hard as possible by upholding transparency.

“We are committed to resolving all these issues transparently.

We will convey all information clearly to the public so that it does not become a wild issue that disturbs the community,” said the Minister of ATR/Head of BPN.

With the appreciation and support given by the Leadership and Members of Commission II of the Indonesian House of Representatives, the Ministry of ATR/BPN is expected to continue to improve its performance and accelerate the implementation of land policies for the welfare of the Indonesian people.

Participating offline in this meeting were the Deputy Minister of ATR/Deputy Head of BPN, Ossy Dermawan and the Senior High and Pratama Officials of the Ministry of ATR/BPN.

Present online were all Heads of BPN Provincial Offices throughout Indonesia and their staff.
