Tangerang Regent Moch. Maesyal Rasyid conducted Friday Tours (Jumling) by performing congregational Friday prayers with the community at Hidayatussolihin Grand Mosque in Talok Village, Kresek District, on Friday (August 1, 2025).
In his remarks, Regent Maesyal Rasyid emphasized that the Friday Tours are an important program for maintaining direct relationships between the local government and the community.
This Friday Tours program is expected to be an effective means of strengthening brotherhood and improving public services that are more accessible, faster, and more responsive.
“Thank God, the Friday Tour program can be implemented again. I have asked all officials to reschedule this program and visit the villages directly.
Through this activity, we want to meet with community leaders, greet residents, and observe conditions on the ground firsthand,” said Regent Maesyal Rasyid.
He also added that activities like Friday Tours are a form of government presence to gather aspirations, receive input, and resolve residents’ problems quickly and appropriately.
“Hopefully, our presence will be beneficial and can accommodate the various complaints and shortcomings faced by the community.
This is part of our duty as public servants,” he concluded.
The Regent’s presence was warmly welcomed by the management of the Mosque Prosperity Council (DKM), religious leaders, community leaders, and local residents.

One of the community leaders, Ustaz Bahijudin, expressed his gratitude and thanks for the presence of the regional leaders at the Hidayatussolihin Grand Mosque.
“Alhamdulillah, this is the second time we have been visited by regional leaders.
The last time was in 2013, and today the Regent and the new Sub-district Head are here again.
Thank you for your extraordinary attention and concern for us,” said Ustaz Bahijudin.
On this occasion, Regent Maesyal Rasyied presented Rp 20,000,000 in assistance to the Hidayatussolihin Mosque’s Community Service Council (DKM).
