Tangerang Regent Moch. Maesyal Rasyid, accompanied by Deputy Regent Intan Nurul Hikmah, led the first roll call at the beginning of 2026, attended by heads of regional government organizations (OPD).
The sub-district heads and all civil servants (ASN) within the Tangerang Regency Government were present at Raden Aria Yudhanegara Field on Monday (January 5, 2026).
In his address, Regent Maesyal Rasyid emphasized that ASN are public servants who hold a significant mandate.
This mandate must be carried out with full responsibility, in accordance with applicable laws and regulations and norms.
“We have taken an oath to prioritize the public interest, one of which is service to the public.
This mandate is a heavy responsibility, but it is our obligation as ASN,” emphasized Regent Maesyal Rasyid.
Regarding the dynamics and public scrutiny on social media regarding public services,
Particularly regarding population administration services, the regent asked all employees not to be influenced by rumors and to resist criticism raised by the public.
Population administration services, including ID cards, have been delegated to sub-districts, and the public needs a proper explanation.
“Don’t be influenced. Just carry out your duties for the benefit of the public. If there is input or criticism, explain it clearly and responsively.
That’s part of our efforts to improve services,” he emphasized.
He also emphasized the importance of coordination and hierarchy within government organizations.
All tasks, both functional and structural, must be executed with the knowledge of the leadership to ensure institutional accountability.
“This regional government organization is an official public service organization. It cannot operate in isolation. Everything must be coordinated and reported according to the appropriate level,” he added.
He also expressed his appreciation and gratitude to all Tangerang Regency Government employees for their dedication and performance during the successful implementation of the 2025 fiscal year programs and activities.
“On behalf of the leadership, we express our deepest gratitude and appreciation to all Tangerang Regency employees.
We are proud that the 2025 tasks and programs have been carried out with full responsibility,” he said.
The Regent explained that following the roll call, a coordination meeting would be held with the Deputy Regent, Regional Secretary, heads of Regional Apparatus Organizations (OPD), expert staff, assistants, sub-district heads, and department heads.
The meeting aimed to evaluate the implementation of the 2025 programs as well as to design and consolidate the implementation of programs stipulated in the 2026 Regional Budget.
“We must approach 2026 with careful planning.
The 2025 evaluation serves as the basis for improving performance and service to the public,” he emphasized.
Concluding his remarks, the Tangerang Regent expressed his hope that the performance of all civil servants in 2026 would improve across all sectors.
And what has been done in the previous year will be a source of reward for all.
“Good luck with your duties, happy new year. Hopefully, in 2026, we can improve and enhance our services to the people of Tangerang Regency,” he concluded.
