Commission VI RDP: Ananta Asks Pertamina Boss Not to Increase Fuel Ahead of Eid.

JAKARTA, POSINTERNATIONAL.COM

Member of Commission VI DPR RI, Ananta Wahana asked Pertamina’s Main Director (Dirut) Nicke Widyawati not to increase fuel before Eid.

The reason, according to the senior Banten politician from PDI Perjuangan, is that the mobility of people and goods at the end of Ramadan is very high, so high fuel needs are also needed, especially for Eid homecoming activities.

“Our tradition for Eid is going home. “People definitely need fuel, so I ask Pertamina not to increase it yet,” said Ananta in a written statement after the DPR RI Commission VI Hearing Meeting (RDP) with the Managing Director of Pertamina, in Jakarta, Thursday, March 28 2024.

Ananta also hopes that Pertamina can make it easier to purchase subsidized Pertalite fuel, because so far people have not been able to get it easily, and using applications have found it difficult to access it. Moreover, he said.

On the Pantura route, purchases of pertalite are sometimes limited. “I ask Pertamina to simplify matters regarding Pertalite.

“So that people can get it more easily,” he said. Ensuring the Availability of LPG Then Ananta highlighted the availability of 3 kilo LPG gas in the Greater Tangerang area which is often scarce ahead of Eid.

According to him, in electoral districts or electoral districts, namely the city, district and South Tangerang, LPG gas is difficult to obtain in stalls.

And apart from being felt by the general public, it is also felt by MSMEs who are experiencing busy sales turnover ahead of Eid.

It turned out that after investigating, he continued, on red dates or holidays, agents in the Greater Tangerang area did not receive shipments from Pertamina.

“While we compare other areas, delivery continues to be smooth. Please also pay attention to this, Pertamina must ensure the availability of LPG gas during Eid.

“Don’t let the people and MSMEs suffer because of shortages,” he said. Next, Ananta also questioned the lack of uniform service at petrol stations, both Pertamina and private.

He said that service at gas stations is different, sometimes there are payment receipts that use electricity, some are still manual, and there are also those that don’t accept cash or cashless payments.

“So, regarding this matter, please put things in order. “I think Pertamina needs to standardize services at gas stations,” he said.
