Tangerang Regent Moch. Maesyal Rasyid personally inspected the site of a house that collapsed due to extreme weather in Lembur Saung Hamlet, RT 015/005, Pasir Ampo Village, Kresek District, (January 31, 2026).
During the visit, the Regent was accompanied by the Tangerang Police Chief and relevant Regional Apparatus Organizations (OPDs) to ensure swift and comprehensive response for affected residents.
Eka Rosita’s house collapsed due to heavy rain and strong winds that occurred in the early hours of the morning.
Although there were no casualties, the damage to the house was severe and it was no longer habitable.
On this occasion, Regent Moch. Maesyal Rasyid firmly instructed the sub-district and relevant OPDs to immediately follow up on the response, starting with emergency assistance.
And rebuilding the homes of affected residents.
“I ask that there be no delay. Today, all administrative and technical preparations are being made, and tomorrow, this house must begin rebuilding. The government is here to ensure that the community is not left to face disaster alone,” emphasized Regent Maesyal Rasyid.
He continued, stating that the Tangerang Regency Government is committed to continuously improving preparedness and responding quickly to disasters.
And ensuring that every affected resident receives maximum protection and assistance.
“We will ensure that the victims’ basic needs are met, and that house construction will be prioritized.
This is a form of responsibility and the state’s presence in the community,” he added.
The homeowner, Eka Rosita, expressed her gratitude for the attention and swift action of the Tangerang Regency Government, which immediately arrived at the location and provided assistance.

This means a lot to our family,” said Eka Rosita, teary-eyed.
