The Sadane River in Tangerang City is starting to get shallow, the sadane water debit has started to decrease, because the water from Bogor is also running low, Friday (04/08).
The Municipal Government of Tangerang has not yet checked the sadane water discharge for the next 3 months, is it sufficient for consumption by the residents of Tangerang City, Banten.
About 2.8 million residents of Tangerang City depend on Sadane River water.
“Is there any study from the Tangerang City Government in overcoming the shortage of clean water,” said Hendardi, S.Sos Environmental Monitor.
According to Hendardi, if it doesn’t rain in the next three months, the city of Tangerang will definitely experience drought.
Why is that? If the residents look at the sadane river water, it is almost starting to change color.
Now it is in the form of sadane water like moss, and not clear, indicating that the sadane water will decrease.
“We hope that the Tangerang city government will take action and find a solution,” said Hari Murti, a local resident.
According to Hari Murti, if there is no rain in the next 3 months it will cause drought in the Sadane River which is consumed by water that is already covered with moss.
