Jokowi, President of the Republic of Indonesia, will form a Task Force (Satgas) to permanently eradicate online gambling, Jakarta, Saturday (15/06).
Forming this Task Force consisting of members of the Minister of Social Affairs, Kemenkopolkhuam, Economy, Komimfo and Polri/TNI.
He hopes to eradicate cases of online, digital and non-online gambling.
Because of gambling, no one is rich, because it will make you poor and can threaten poverty in your family.
“Strike down the carpenters and eradicate online, digital and non-digital gambling,” said Jokowi during confirmation by a number of journalists in Jakarta.
Jokowi said, gambling will threaten economic security in the future.
Because of gambling, the suffering of the perpetrators and victims of gambling, which he considers to be the target of the gambling bosses.
“I have appointed a Task Force to eradicate gambling which is thought to be based in Thailand, Bangkok,” he said.
Gambling is also dangerous for this nation, after drugs/narcotics.
“We also hope that the government will seriously resolve online, digital and non-digital gambling,” said Dr. H.Ahmad Sabrani, S.Pd, M.Pd Activist.
So gambling advertisements in cyberspace and gambling perpetrators are also expected to be caught and developed by the Ministry of Social Affairs.
“So we will regulate and permanently arrest the online gambling network,” said the activist.
