The Ministry of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/National Land Agency (ATR/BPN) is still investigating the problem in Kohod Village, Tangerang Regency, Banten Province.

From the results of the temporary investigation, a number of certificates were found outside the coastline.

The Ministry of ATR/BPN will conduct a review for revocation of these certificates.

“In fact, in the current condition, there are certificates that are under the sea.

After we examined and matched them with spatial data, coastline maps, and other documents, it was found that several certificates were outside the coastline,” said the Minister of ATR/Head of BPN.

Nusron Wahid, after reviewing the revocation of the sea fence in Tanjung Pasir, Tangerang Regency, Wednesday (22/01/2025).

As is known, previously Minister Nusron revealed that 280 certificates were found in the sea fence area in Kohod Village.

The certificates consisted of 263 Building Use Rights Certificates and 17 Ownership Rights Certificates.

Based on Government Regulation Number 18 of 2021, the revocation of land rights certificates can be carried out by the Ministry of ATR/BPN without a court order if there is an administrative defect and it has not reached the age of five years since it was issued.

“Because most of these certificates were issued in 2022-2023, the sufficient requirements for cancellation are met,” he said.

Minister Nusron also expressed his appreciation to the public who have utilized the Bhumi ATR/BPN application.

According to him, the application is not only beneficial for the public to obtain information related to land and spatial planning, but can also be a space for transparency for the public to monitor the performance of the Ministry of ATR/BPN.

On the same occasion, the Minister of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries, Sakti Wahyu Trenggono, appreciated the performance of all related parties in handling the polemic that occurred in the northern waters of Java Island.

Meanwhile, the Chairperson of Commission IV of the People’s Representative Council of the Republic of Indonesia (DPR RI), Titiek Soeharto, also expressed the hope that this polemic could be resolved soon.

In this activity, all leaders who attended used LVT vehicles to directly review the process of removing the bamboo fence that was stuck in the waters of Tanjung Pasir.

This process was carried out by a joint force consisting of the TNI, Polri, Bakamla, and local fishermen.
