An elderly person is sick lying on the side of the road on a black bag. It is suspected that an elderly man named Toto Daryanto (51) was deliberately dumped by his son on the side of the road.
Daryanto, a resident of Jambe District, Tangerang Regency, allegedly abandoned his own child on the side of the road. Daryanto, who was ill, was deliberately left on the side of the road.
The victim was left alone in the industrial area, Jalan Palem Manis, Dumpit Village, RT3/5, Gandasari Village, Jatiuwung District, Tangerang City, Wednesday 26 April 2023.
He was left lying on the side of the road on a black bag. Residents who saw it felt compassion, and immediately reported it to the Jatiuwung Police, Tangerang Metro Police.
Tangerang Metro Police Chief Kombes Pol Zain Dwi Nugroho said that initially his party received complaints from the public about an elderly person allegedly abandoned by his family. The condition of the paralyzed elderly was lying on the side of the highway.
And many people who see it feel pity, said Zain “The community’s report was immediately responded to by Bhabinkamtibmas, Gandasari Village, Bripka Nuri Eka, by visiting the location together with the heads of the local RT and RW,” he told reporters.
According to him, based on the statement from the head of the RW, at around 3:00 p.m. local time, a resident saw two people riding a motorbike drop the paralyzed elderly person at the location and immediately left him.
“This elderly named Toto Daryanto, 51 years old, allegedly abandoned by someone on the side of the road,” said the police chief.
The victim was immediately taken to the Tangerang City Social Service Office accompanied by Bhabinkamtibmas, Trantib Jatiuwung District and community social workers (PSM) in Gandasari Village.
“After collecting the data, we will take him to the Tangerang City Hospital to receive further medical treatment,” said the Chief of Police.
The victim’s family was also immediately contacted by the police to inform and ask for further information to find out whether there was an element of intentional abandonment.
