One last victim due to being swept away by the waves on Batu Bentang Beach on Monday (24/4) this afternoon was found dead.

The victim, known as Dio Saputra (15), was found at a radius of approximately 150 meters from the incident location at around 11.58 WIB this afternoon.

“We, together with the combined SAR elements, immediately evacuated the victims this afternoon and were immediately taken to Palabuhan Ratu Hospital,” said Suryo Adianto, Coordinator of the Sukabumi SAR Post.

He also said that today’s search involved dozens of joint SAR elements including BKO personnel from the Jakarta SAR Office.
