Support for the Moch Maeayal Rasyid-Intan Nurul Hikmah pair in the Tangerang Regent and Deputy Regent election on November 27, 2024, continues to flow from various groups, Monday (04/11).

This time, the Minang Migrant Workers Association Forum domiciled in Tangerang Regency declared support for Maesyal Rasyid-Intan Nurul Hikmah as Candidates for Regent and Deputy Regent of Tangerang.

The declaration was made during the Minang Migrant Workers Grand Gathering and Minang Culinary Festival held in the Mardi Grass Area, Citra Raya, Panongan District, Saturday (2/11/2024) evening.

“After observing and scrutinizing the track records of the three pairs of Tangerang Regent and Deputy Regent candidates.

We have concluded and agreed to provide support to pair number 02 Maesyal Rasyid-Intan Nurul Hikmah as the best choice,” said the event’s moderator, Irfan Saumi.

Irfan said that this decision was based on studies from various aspects.

He believes that the Maesyal-Intan pair will be able to answer the aspirations and interests of the Minang migrant community in Tangerang Regency.

“We are sure that the Maesyal-Intan pair will win the fight in the Tangerang Regency Pilkada on November 27, 2024,” he said.

Meanwhile, Tangerang Regent Candidate number 02, Maesyal Rasyid expressed his gratitude for the support declared by the Minang Migrant Forum.

He also expressed his appreciation for the implementation of the culinary festival and creative product exhibition at the event.

This is because these activities have supported the people’s economy.

On this occasion, Maesyal also expressed his commitment to help the development of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) and small and medium industries (IKM).

The former Regional Secretary of Tangerang Regency revealed that from 2014 to 2023, the Tangerang Regency Government (Pemkab) has disbursed revolving funds of around IDR 280 billion for MSMEs and Cooperatives.

“God willing, if I and Mrs. Intan are given the mandate to lead Tangerang Regency, in the future we will make it easier to access capital for MSME actors,” he said.

In addition to helping the development of MSMEs, at the event Maesyal also conveyed various work programs, ranging from health services, free schools to the construction of sanitation and Islamic boarding school dormitories.

Monitoring at the location, the event was attended by a number of important Minang figures.

The event was also enlivened by Minang art performances, including traditional dances and regional music performed by a number of famous Minang artists.
