Opening Tangerang TAXPO 2026, Tangerang Regent Promotes Tax Awareness Culture in Public Spaces. Tangerang Regent, Moch. Maesyal Rasyid, Sunday (February 15th).

officially opened the 2026 Tangerang TAXPO event, organized by the Tangerang Regency Regional Revenue Agency (BPN) at the Tangerang Regency Government Center Car Free Day area on Sunday (February 15th, 2026).

In his remarks, Regent Maesyal Rasyid stated that Tangerang TAXPO demonstrates the Tangerang Regency Government’s commitment.

To provide closer, faster, and more convenient public services to the public, the government does not simply wait for the public to come to the service office.

But rather, it is present directly in public spaces to make services more accessible.

“The Tangerang Regency Government, through the Regional Revenue Agency, is holding Tangerang TAXPO.

This demonstrates our commitment to providing services that are accessible, welcoming, and serving directly in public spaces,” said Regent Maesyal Rasyid.

At this event, the public can utilize the Rural and Urban Land and Building Tax (PBB-P2) service.

And pay motor vehicle taxes through the Samsat (State-Owned Vehicle Tax Office).

The presence of this service is expected to further facilitate the public in fulfilling their tax obligations while enjoying morning exercise with their families.

He also emphasized that taxes are a form of modern community cooperation in supporting regional development.

Through taxes, the construction of roads, public facilities, education, and various public services can continue for the common good.

This activity is expected to increase public awareness and compliance as taxpayers, thus contributing positively to development.

“We want to build a culture of tax awareness, compliance, and pride in contributing to Tangerang Regency,” he emphasized.

Concluding the event, he encouraged the entire community to utilize the available services and continue to actively participate in the development of Tangerang Regency.

Meanwhile, the Head of the Tangerang Regency Regional Revenue Agency, Slamet Budhi Mulyanto, urged the public to stop feeling anxious or afraid about paying taxes.

“So, people shouldn’t be afraid anymore. Usually, people are afraid of paying taxes, and there are tax officers who are afraid. Now, there’s no need to be afraid.

Because we will serve everyone. As the Regent said earlier, these tax revenues are to be utilized and utilized to the maximum.

For the welfare of the people of Tangerang Regency,” said Slamet Budhi.

He added that through activities like Tangerang TAXPO, Bapenda aims to build a closer relationship with the community.

At the same time, it also provides education that taxes are a real contribution to regional development.

“We want to be closer to the community, while also educating them that paying taxes responsibly and consciously is a real contribution to regional development,” he said.
