Trees throughout Indonesia organized by the Ministry of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning.

The Banten Province BPN Regional Office and 8 (eight) land offices throughout Banten Province participated in the Simultaneous Planting of 100,000 Trees throughout Indonesia organized by the Ministry of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/National Land Agency (ATR/BPN), Wednesday (5/6 /2024).

The symbolic planting was carried out in Bekasi Regency, West Java Province by the Minister of ATR/Head of BPN, Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY) which was attended by 33 provinces and 479 land offices throughout Indonesia.

In Banten Province, more than 850 tree seedlings were planted during this activity, especially trees that are able to reduce carbon emissions, including Trembesi, Acacia, Mahogany, Banyan, Matoa and others.

Head of the Banten Province BPN Regional Office, Sudaryanto, said the same thing as what was conveyed by Minister AHY.

“The world has a common enemy, namely climate change. Today we participated in planting 100 trees for the Banten BPN Regional Office.

Serang Regency Kantah 100 trees, and the rest in land offices throughout Banten,” said H.Sudaryanto, SH. MH.

“By planting trees which have the benefit of effectively absorbing carbon emissions, this is a concrete step for us to help preserve the earth,” he continued.

Sudaryanto together with the ranks of Administrator Officials planted trees in Pancanegara Village, Pabuaran District, Serang Regency, Banten Province.

This activity was also attended by the Serang Regency Regional Assistant who was present representing the Regent of Serang, the Head of Pancanegara Village and other invited guests.
