Deputy Regent of Tangerang, Intan Nurul Hikmah received a recess working visit from the leadership and members of the Banten Provincial DPRD for the 2024-2029 period at the Wareng Meeting Room, Tangerang Regent Building, Thursday (22/5/25).

In her remarks, Deputy Regent Intan Nurul Hikmah conveyed her respects and pride in receiving this visit.

This visit is part of the Recess of the Leadership and Members of the Banten Provincial DPRD for the 3rd (Three) Session of the 2024-2025 Session Year.

“It is an honor and pride for us to receive this recess working visit.

This recess working visit is a space for mutual dialogue, discussion, and exchange of information to advance regional development,” said Intan Nurul Hikmah.

She said that one of the buffer areas for the capital city and the center of economic growth in Banten, Tangerang Regency continues to be committed to improving public services.

Accelerating infrastructure development, and empowering communities through various superior programs.

The challenges currently faced in regional development include regional planning, flood control, improving the quality of education and health, and empowering the community’s economy.

“Therefore, through this recess activity, we hope to get input and policy formulations that support the acceleration of development in Tangerang Regency, both in terms of budget support.

Regional regulations, and cross-sector programs involving the provincial and district governments,” he explained.

Deputy Regent Intan also emphasized the strategic role of the DPRD in regional development, both in terms of legislation, budgeting, and supervision.

He hopes that the various proposals, suggestions and input obtained during the visit.

Later, it can be used as material to determine development policies in Banten and Tangerang Regency in particular

“What we hope is that the input, proposals, and recommendations submitted can be a common reference for the progress of Tangerang Regency and Banten Province,” he said.

Meanwhile, the leader of the Banten DPRD recess group, Tubagus Luay Sofhani, said that this recess was part of the duties and responsibilities of DPRD members.

To absorb the aspirations of the community directly and communicate with the local government, especially in the Tangerang Regency area.

“We are conducting a recess for the DPRD members for the 3rd session in order to convey the aspirations of the Tangerang Regency community.

So that the Tangerang Regency Government can follow up on the findings and aspirations of the community in the Tangerang Regency area,” he said.
