Dandim 0506/TGR Lt. Col. Inf Endik Hendra together with the Tangerang City Metro Police Chief, Police Commissioner Zain Dwi Nugroho led the rally for security forces ahead of the arrival of the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Ir. Joko Widodo, Monday, (8/1/2024) took place at the Cisadane Bridge location, Tangerang City.

It is known that President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) arrived to inaugurate the Cisadane Bridge which has been completely revitalized by the PUPR ministry.

The Cisadane Bridge is a link between 3 regions, namely Tangerang City, Tangerang Regency and DKI Jakarta. Lt. Col. Inf Endik Hendra said that the troops alerted to protect President Jokowi involved 1,084 joint TNI-Polri personnel from the Tangerang City Government.

“The troops prepared are 1,084 joint personnel. This security consists of rings 1, 2 and 3, starting from arrival until the President leaves the location,” he said.

Endik continued, his party asked for forgiveness and understanding from the road users for the sterilization and road closure efforts carried out by the TNI-Polri and the Tangerang City Government.

This activity will start at 17.00 WIB until finished, after which traffic will return to normal. He emphasized that there would be no display of banners or expression of opinions without permission when President Jokowi arrived.

“Let’s welcome the arrival of our President, Ir. Joko Widodo, with kindness and positivity. He has come with kindness for development in Tangerang City,” he said.
