The Tangerang Regency MKPU officially appointed the couple Maesyal Rasyid and Intan Nurul Hikmah as Regent and Deputy Regent for the 2025-2030 period.
The event was held by the KPU at the Arya Duta Hotel in the Lippo Karawaci area, Kelapa Dua District on Thursday (9/1/2025).
Chairman of the Tangerang Regency KPU, Muhammad Umar, said that the KPU’s open plenary had finished appointing the Maesal – Intan pair as elected Regent and Deputy Regent of Tangerang for the 2025-2030 period.
Umar explained that this determination was based on the vote recapitulation plenary meeting which was held some time ago.
Where Maesal Rasyid and Intan Nurul Hikmah received votes with a total of 995 votes or 65.14 percent of the total 1,528,185 valid votes.
The event continued with the handing over of the KPU’s decision letter regarding the appointment of the Regent and Deputy Regent of Tangerang Regency to Maesyal-Intan.
The plenary was also attended by the Tangerang Regency Bawaslu, Tangeran Regency DPRD and the supporting political parties.
Apart from that, regarding the inauguration of the Regent and Deputy Regent of Tangerang, according to the KPU’s agenda, the inauguration will be held on 10 February 2025.
However, his party is still waiting for the decision letter from the Constitutional Court and the Republic of Indonesia KPU.
God willing, if the schedule does not change, the inauguration will take place on February 10, he said.
In his speech the Regent was elected. Saying their deepest thanks to all political parties and the people of Tangerang Regency, they gave their trust to Maysal and Intan to become Regent and Deputy Regent.
