PWI Holds Fast-Breaking Event with the Regent and Figures of Tangerang Regency.

The Indonesian Journalists Association (PWI) of Tangerang Regency, together with the Tangerang Regency Government (Pemkab), the Indonesian Hotel and Restaurant Association (PHRI) of Tangerang Regency, held a gathering and fast-breaking event together at the Lemo Hotel, Kelapa Dua, on Friday, March 21, 2025.

In a friendly atmosphere during the gathering during the month of Ramadan, the figures appreciated the role of Tangerang Regency PWI which continues to exist in maintaining the dignity of the press in this region and proving its concern for others and the environment.

Tangerang Regent, Moch. Maesyal Rasyid, in the midst of his busy schedule during Ramadan, still made time to meet with journalists who are members of the Tangerang Regency PWI.

“My togetherness with fellow journalists in Tangerang Regency is nothing new.

Since I was a Persita athlete until now as Regent, fellow PWI members have always been my close friends.

In fact, when I was the Regional Secretary accompanying Mr. Zaki, I always tried to attend every PWI activity,” said the figure who is familiarly called Rudy Maesyal.

Regent Maesyal’s retracing of the journey he has gone through with PWI journalists inspires and further strengthens the sense of togetherness to build Tangerang Regency according to their respective duties and functions.

A. Zaki Iskandar expressed the same thing, who also stated that even though he was busy with various activities, he still made time to attend.

“I always feel happy when I meet friends who have accompanied me during my time as Regent of Tangerang.

Our sense of family and brotherhood remains even though I am no longer Regent,” he said.

The Chairman of the Tangerang Regency DPRD, Muhammad Amud, also stated that PWI has a very strategic role.

Amud, who has a background as a journalist in local media in Tangerang, did not want to waste the opportunity to socialize with the press at that moment.

“I came from outside the area, and came here directly. This is because the momentum of this socialization is very important,” he said.

The Chairman of PWI Banten, Mashudi, gave a thumbs up and thanked the Tangerang Regency Government for establishing a close family relationship.

He also expressed his gratitude to the close partners who always support various activities of PWI Tangerang Regency.

“Today, I witnessed the figures present here, this is extraordinary and proves our togetherness, especially supported by friends from other close partners, such as PHRI Tangerang Regency.

This is truly an atmosphere of togetherness that we must always maintain and improve,” he said.

Sri Mulyo, Head of PWI Tangerang Regency, was surprised by the presence of the figures at the event. He admitted that he did not expect the breaking of the fast together event to be this lively.

“This togetherness proves that PWI Tangerang Regency is always in the hearts of our close partners, and it is also a source of pride for us,” he said.

Klisman Yonada, Head of PHRI Tangerang Regency, with a cheerful face expressed his joy at being able to meet various stakeholders directly.

He said that this opportunity was a very valuable moment for business actors in the hotel and restaurant sector in Tangerang Regency.

“We are open to synergizing with various parties, especially with the Tangerang Regency Government and PWI Tangerang Regency.

Through this synergy, we can boost the growth of the hotel and restaurant industry in Tangerang Regency,” he said enthusiastically.

Hotel Lemo, which hosted the event, also expressed its joy at being able to participate in the event. “We are very proud to be a part of this activity.

Hopefully this gathering will further strengthen our brotherhood,” said Indra, manager of Hotel Lemo.

The momentum of togetherness became even more solemn when the representatives of the participants who were present distributed donations to orphans as proof of their love.
